Rummy Serediuk

Rummy was the Wrestling Coach at SAIT from 1968-85 (17 years). During this time, SAIT won 10 ACAC team championships, had 42 individual champions, 12 of his athletes went on to win the Provincial Club Championships, and 7 went on to compete in the Canadian Championships.

Rummy has done it all - He has been an executive member of the Calgary and Alberta Wrestling Associations; Officiated at provincial, national, and international events; and coached and managed provincial teams and Canada Western game teams.

Rummy has received the Booster Club Sport Contribution Award and was inducted into the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame, as well as being recognized by the Canadian Amateur Wrestling Association as a sports builder.

It is with pride that Rummy Serediuk is inducted into the Athletics Wall of Distinction.
