Builder Inductee - 1996

Richard Foggo

Richard coached the Women's Basketball Team from 1984-90.

During this time the team captured 3 Silver Medals in the Alberta College Athletic Conference (ACAC). Richard was instrumental in establishing bingos as a fundraising project for funding of exhibition travel for teams.

Richard was honoured by his peers for the 1989-90 season, whereby he was selected as ACAC Coach of the Year and was awarded the 3M Coaching Recognition Award.

Richard continues to contribute to SAIT Athletics. It is with this honour and appreciation that Richard Foggo is inducted into the Athletics Wall of Distinction as a Builder of SAIT Athletics.
